Tuesday Games Cancelled, Scheduled For The Weekend

NAIROBI – The Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League two quarter-final games that were scheduled to take place today at YMCA Shauri Moyo will not take place as earlier indicated.

Former Champions Co-op Bank Spartans were to play Umoja at 1 pm followed by Blades taking on USIU Tigers at 3 pm. All the teams involved expressed their concerns to the federation through about movement and security of players with the current political situation in the country prompting the cancellations.

Co-op vs. Umoja Game 3 will now be played on Sunday at 2:30 pm followed by Blades vs. USIU at 4 pm, at Upperhill.

Strathmore vs. Kisumu Lady Bucks Game 1 that failed to tip off last weekend in Kisumu has been moved to Saturday in Nairobi while Lakeside will take on Strathmore on the same day in the afternoon.

Other games slated for the weekend will see KPA men travel to Nairobi to play Equity Bank while their ladies face off with Kenyatta University Oryx.

KDF Morans who won Game 1 will host Little Prince in the first game of the weekend. Blazers and Emyba will square it out in a series that is tied 1-1 on Sunday.
