Hospitalized Player’s Family Appeals For Help

NAIROBI – Sila Awuor, Co-op Bank Spartans shooting guard was hospitalized over a month ago and spent several days under close watch before being moved to a regular room. He appears to be on the mend, but he’s not out of the woods yet and his hospital bill continues to grow.

Sila was admitted at Neema Hospital in Kahawa where he spent a couple of weeks and was then transferred to Avenue Hospital. He has since undergone surgery and continues to get treatment. Sila has tremendously improved and the doctors are taking him into physiotherapy on a daily basis. If all goes well he will be out soon but as of now the family is waiting for the results of the biopsy done during the surgery.

The hospital bill was at Ksh188,000 on Saturday and his family is humbly requesting for financial support to help cater for the medical bill and ultimately in Sila’s recovery.

The basketball community has always stood as one in time of need. Let’s come together to help our friend. Your continued and undying help is greatly appreciated.
