The game aims to promote peace over the recent violence we have seen all over the country after the just ended elections in the country
said NCBL founder James Mavisi.
In this attempt to redirect and change the culture of violence after every election the money raised will go a long way in helping basketball programs for kids in Nairobi.
The idea is to bring people together, we want people to come and have fun, relieve the pressure and enjoy
The former Kamusinga and Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks star Tylor Ongwae now plying his trade in Europe said. He will captain one of the teams on the night.
The game will be important not only for basketball but also the country because we all know what happened in 2007
Former Maseno and Wichita State Shockers center Bush Wamukota told basketball254.
For the first time ever, NCBL is setting up the game of basketball to bring people onto the court and away from crime. It’s part of various initiatives to promote peace.
Without peace we can never be together, it’s through peace that we all make friends. The game will bring us together just as athletics did the past one week
